Abbott Diabetes Care recently conducted a study on the FreeStyle Libre 2 Flash Glucose Monitoring System, a next-generation device designed to simplify daily glucose tracking for people living with diabetes.

The Intervention Phase Study explored how individuals currently using Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose (SMBG)responded to the FreeStyle Libre 2 system — with a focus on usability, accuracy, and long-term experience.

Through collaboration with diabetes patients and research teams, the study gathered insights to guide future improvements in glucose monitoring technology and user support tools.
