Abbot Diabetes Care is seeking participants to join the Intervention Phase Study for the FreeStyle Libre 2 Flash Glucose Monitoring System. This study aims to evaluate the system's effectiveness, accuracy, and user experience over an extended period. Participants, who are currently using Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose (SMBG) for managing their diabetes, will have the opportunity to use the FreeStyle Libre 2 system and provide valuable feedback to shape future enhancements.
Criteria for Participation:
To be eligible for the study, participants should meet the following criteria:
1️⃣ Have a medical history for the past 6 months.
2️⃣ Have experienced a hyperglycemic or hypoglycemic event within the same period.
3️⃣ Currently using SMBG for managing their diabetes.
4️⃣ Not have previously used a continuous glucose monitoring system to manage their diabetes within the last six (6) months.
5️⃣ Not have a known allergy to medical-grade adhesive or isopropyl alcohol used to disinfect the skin.
6️⃣ Not be pregnant or attempting to become pregnant at the time of enrollment.
7️⃣ Not be on dialysis at the time of enrollment.
